Topic:

The Power of Shared Data Consortiums

presentation slides

Abstract:

Data consortiums or exchanges are valuable sources for new types of data that have proven themselves to be extremely powerful in a wide range of analytic applications, including market sizing, penetration, targeting, profiling and predictive modeling. These data pools give firms the ability to understand their clients and markets well beyond their own knowledge alone, and use of consortium-sourced data has generated quantum improvements in many of these kinds of activities.

Using IXI’s data exchange as an example, Ms. Russo will discuss the data origination and compilation process, methods to improve accuracy, and the benefits of leveraging this kind of data in a wide variety of applications.
