|Topic:||A Reference Class Forecasting Approach for Product Launches|
|Abstract:||Early and pre-launch forecasting are extremely important exercises in most industries. There are a number of approaches used to try to assess where the first 12-24 months will track once a few data points have come in. These approaches vary from targeted population expectation to time series models and curve shape fitting methods. This presentation will focus on a method that puts more weight on a reference class forecasting approach in a pharmaceutical product launch setting.|
